Nach fast zweieinhalb Monaten im Belize ging die Reise am Dienstag, 11. Juli weiter. Und zwar via Benque zurück nach Guatemala. Diesesmal in den Norden.
Erster Halt El Remate am Lago de Petén. Von diesem kleinen verschlafenen Ort erfuhr ich durch die beiden australischen Volunteers Skye& Jake auf der Farm.
Hier am See werde ich mich mal ein paar Tage erholen und auf die Ankunft von Gunnar warten. Der 19 jährige Deutsche wird am Samstag ebenfalls nach Guatemala weiterziehen. Zusammen möchten wir die Tikal Ruinen besuchen, sowie den El Mirador Hike bewältigen.

After almost two and a half months in Belize, the trip continued on Tuesday, July 11th. Via Benque back to Guatemala. This time to the north.
First stop is El Remate at the Lago de Petén. From this small sleepy place I heard about the two australian volunteers Skye & Jake on the farm.
Here at the lake I will have a few days to recover and wait for the arrival of Gunnar. The 19-year-old German will also come to Guatemala on Saturday. Together we would like to visit the Tikal ruins, as well as hiking the El Mirador.
So there are soon more exciting entries. Hasta pronto!
