San Ignacio kannte ich schon fast auswendig. Hier hatten wir für die Farm unsere Wocheneinkäufe gemacht alles weitere Notwendige fand man in hier.
Es ist eine der grössten Ortschaften in Belize, doch mit 10’000 Einwohner doch sehr überschaubar.
Nach meinen Couchsurfing-Abenteuer blieb ich noch knapp eine Woche im Old House Hostel und reorganisierte mich. Auch traff ich mich nochmals mit Ingrid & Jaime und den anderen Volunteers. Zusammen gabs Frühstück auf dem Markt und dann gings zu den Maya Ruinen von Xunantunich.
Auch die ATM Cave Tour machte ich in diesen Tagen noch zusammen mit Gunnar. Darüber erzähle ich im nächsten Eintrag.
San Ignacio I knew almost by heart. Here we had made our weekly purchases for the farm. It is one of the largest settlements in Belize, but with 10’000 inhabitants very manageable.
After my couchsurfing adventure I stayed at the Old House Hostel for just under a week and reorganized myself. I also met again with Ingrid & Jaime and the other volunteers. Together we had breakfast at the market and then went to the mayan ruins of Xunantunich.
