Trujillo, Huaraz & Lima

After the short beach stay in Mancora I traveled by night bus in 10 hours to the more southern Trujillo. The city is close by the sea and has a very nice main square, but otherwise not too impressive. So I made a day trip to the beach town of Huanchaco and met again Selina, who visited me already in Mexico and Colombia. This time she is on her own and together with two other Swiss.

After a night in Trujillo, the next stop was in Huaraz, 8 hours away and at 3000m in the Peruvian Andes. I stayed 3 nights and did a day hike to Laguna 69 at 4600m, known for its beautiful blue color.

Then Lima was on the program, the capital of Peru can score with its beautiful coastline and has especially in the district of Miraflores a very European character. Otherwise, personally for me not too much to offer.

I stayed for 2 days and then continued by bus to Ica.
