New home in Goergeville

Categories Belize, Work

Bin also eher per Zufall hier geladet.

After another ten days on the island of Caye Caulker and some relaxing and rainy days I went back to the mainland on Tuesday, May 9th. From Belize City I got on the bus to Benque. The trip lasted just under 4h and in Georgeville about 30 minutes before Benque I got off. Here is a project under construction where I would like to help. Barzakh Falah is the name of this and the idea is to build an independent organic farm with earthbag houses, which offers a refuge and future for young women. About this project I heard through the Global Convoy, a crazy group which is traveling with old world cars around the world. So I’m more likely by chance here.

The pictures give an insight into the Farm & Georgeville. I am looking forward to an instructive time and would stay here until further notice without electricity & internet. For this, together with chickens, turkeys, peacocks, dogs, cats, ducks, geese, sheep and hundreds of spiders & frogs, as well as some poisonous snakes & scorpions.
